Blue Moon Bakery
Gluten-free has a reputation for being tasteless and dry. Blue Moon Bakery has created simple gluten-free baking mixes that are so delicious, you can’t tell the difference. They came to us to help design their first baking mixes for cakes, cookies, rolls & pancakes that would be available at retail as well as pop-up shops and e-commerce.
We knew right away that we wanted to show off these delicious baked treats in a big way.
Opportunity→
Our goal was to entice consumers to try Blue Moon and taste how good GF can be. We were asked to design 7 different packages for their products. These mixes are the brand’s first offering at retail and we saw the opportunity to infuse fun into the packaging with mouth-watering images and engaging copywriting.
Result→
We designed their packaging with full bleed photos of actual finished baked goods on the face of the box that look so delicious you can’t help but try them. The brand voice is fun, playful, and classic without being fancy. By having all products in the same size box and printing together, we saved on printing costs, and they visually 'pop' from the grocery shelf.
